I'm an avid BBQ fan — the kind who plans road trips around smoke stops and argues passionately about the difference between eastern and Lexington-style Carolina 'cue. But every time I searched for real BBQ, I kept getting fast food chains and chain restaurants recommended to me.
Search engines don't know the difference between a fast food joint and a whole-hog pit that's been burning since 1949. I got tired of sorting through noise to find signal. So I built the tool I always wanted — a map that only shows the real thing.
